On a sunny April afternoon, downtown Kent came alive with friendly competition as teams gathered for the third The Great Pup Pursuit benefiting Rescue330. Starting at Beware of the Leopard, participants took to the streets for three hours of trivia, creative challenges, and community spirit, all to raise funds for rescue pets in Northeast Ohio.

Teams tackled a variety of challenges throughout Kent, including a closest-to-the-pin competition at Tee'd Off Golf that had everyone channeling their inner pro. But the real competition heated up off the course — this year's Pursuit introduced a team fundraising component where every dollar raised earned points on the leaderboard, turning donors into teammates and making the stakes higher than ever. From word scrambles to photo challenges to hidden QR codes, no two moments looked the same.

After three hours of adventure, teams reunited at Beware of the Leopard for an after-party celebration. Congratulations to our winning team, AltDenk — your strategy, hustle, and fundraising chops earned you top honors and plenty of bragging rights! Together, participants and donors raised $4,071 for Rescue330's medical fund, directly supporting the rescue dogs and cats in our care.

Starting at Ignite Brewing Company, enthusiastic participants hit the streets for three hours of mind-bending trivia, creative challenges, and community spirit. Teams raced through downtown, stopping by local favorites like Masterminds Escape Room where they got to visit with Bubbles, all while racking up points and creating unforgettable memories.

The energy was electric as teams strategized their routes, solved puzzles, and cheered each other on throughout the afternoon. After three hours of adventure, everyone reunited at the starting point for an after-party celebration. Congratulations to our winning team: Can I Pet Dat Dawg? Their combination of wit, speed, and teamwork earned them top honors and plenty of bragging rights!

On a beautiful May afternoon in Akron, Ohio, teams of animal lovers gathered for The Great Pup Pursuit, a high-energy scavenger hunt fundraiser benefiting Rescue330. Starting from Ray's Pub in Highland Square, participants solved trivia, visited local hot spots, and completed fun challenges — all while raising funds to support rescue pets in need.

From 1:00 to 4:00 PM, teams raced around the city, earning points and making memories. Afterward, everyone came together for a lively after-party, where we celebrated the winners and honored the incredible community that made it all possible.
